Fall is a magical season which brings many beautiful aspects with it. We tend to spend more time inside. With this, comes the inspiration to decorate and prepare our interiors for the darker season. As the sunlight becomes a small luxury during fall, I have come to a conclusion that the fall interior necessity to create a warm and light-full ambience is to carry a portable small lamp around the house. Creating a warm autumn interior atmosphere can be achieved with the help of small lamps. Lightweight, portable or just minimalistic, such little interior lighting accessories can be a beautiful alternative to candles. I work from home these days. As a creative person, I have a constant feeling to change atmospheres. This means that you will not find me sitting in one room all day. Changing environments is a great helper for me to stay inspired and have a creative working flow. I brought a small portable lamp with me from Stockholm which I carry with me from room to room during the day. One time it is a bedside lamp, the other time it is at my office desk or by the couch during relaxation time. It really supports me with a warm ambience. It has a warm candlelight like glow. I discovered this little lamp at the Formex fair and it is by a nordic brand BYON and love styling and photographing it:

WIE WIR EINE WARME HERBST ATMOSPHÄRE ZUHAUSE GESTALTEN? MIT LICHT!
Herbst ist eine magische Jahreszeit, die viele schöne Aspekte mit sich bringt. Wir neigen dazu im Herbst mehr Zeit zuhause zu verbringen. Damit einher kommt auch die Inspiration zu dekorieren und unsere Innenräume für die dunklere Saison vorzubereiten. Ich bin zu der Überzeugung gelangt, wenn Sonnenlicht zu einem kleinen Luxus im Herbst wird, ist ein „Herbst-Interieur“ notwendig, also ein warmes und helles Ambiente zu schaffen – z.B. tragbare kleine Lampen im Haus . Mit deren Hilfe kann eine warme Innenraumatmosphäre geschaffen werden. Leicht, tragbar oder einfach minimalistisch sind diese kleinen Lampen eine schöne Alternative zu Kerzen. Heute möchte ich Eich gerne mit diesem kleinen saisonalen Trend begeistern.
Ich arbeite heute von zu Hause aus. Als kreative Person habe ich ein konstantes Gefühl, Raumatmosphären stetig zu wechseln. Das bedeutet, dass du mich nicht den ganzen Tag in einem Zimmer sitzend findest. Ein Wechseln der Umgebungen ist wichtig für mich, um inspiriert zu bleiben und einen kreativen Arbeitsfluss zu haben. Von der Messe aus Stockholm brachte ich mir eine kleine tragbare Lampe mit, die ich mit mir von Raum zu Raum während des Tages mitnehme. Einmal ist es eine Nachttischlampe, die andere Zeit ist es an meinem Bürotisch oder an der Couch während der Entspannungszeit. Es unterstützt mich ungemein ein warmes Ambiente zu kreieren und überall mitzunehmen. Die Lampe glüht wie ein warmes Kerzenlicht. Ich entdeckte diese kleine Lampe von der nordischen Marke BYON auf der Formex, einer Messe in Stockholm.

Es gibt auch ein paar andere minimalistische kleine Lampen, die auf meinem Wunschliste sind. Einige von denen sind wiederaufladbar und können sowohl für drinnen als auch draußen verwendet werden. Praktisch und ästhetisch, genau wie wir es hier in den nordischen Ländern lieben. Welches ist dein Favorit und liebst du es auch, eine warme Innenatmosphäre mit kleinen Lampen im Herbst zu gestalten?
1 & 2. As you probably noticed, I am a big fan of Norm Architect’s minimalist aesthetics. Hense there are several Lamps I would choose from their collections if I could, to create a perfect warm autumn atmosphere in my home. The indoor/outdoor lantern brings a warm candlelight glow to any setting. 1. – Menu – Carrie LED – Its opal glass sphere can be cradled by the powder-coated steel frame, or it can be removed and carried about on its own. 5. Flos – Copycat Lamp – by Michael Anastassiades. I love the minimal and elegant feel in one by this lamp from FLOS. Typical “made-in-Italy” high quality and elegant style.
