The following images bellow are taken at the recent IMM Cologne exhibition of a scandinavian Brand String who offers a very unique storage concept. The swedish Stylist Lotta Agaton has been responsible for many years now for the styling imagery of String catalogues and exhibitions. This year the String IMM Fair stand styling, done together with Pella Hedeby and Marie Ramse, mirrored the latest 2018 String catalogue photoshoot that was shot in house Villa Frösakull by Jonas Lindvall.
This year’s stand exhibits the inspiring possibilities to style a white String shelves system. The main color theme here is the soft natural earthy browns and white – a combination known to be one of the favorite ones in scandinavian interior design.
Not only I always admire the work of Lotta Agaton, her work presents always an opportunity to learn about styling. With the String styling we can see how open shelves can not only be practical but serve as a design element. Choosing a consistent color theme and a balanced mix of materials ( glass, wood, etc.) is what makes the difference here. Here we can see the styling examples of four living areas: the kitchen, storage room, bathroom and living room.

Die folgenden Bilder sind von auf der letzten IMM Cologne Ausstellung des skandinavischen Brands “String”, der ein einzigartiges Stauraum-Konzept bietet. Die schwedische Stylistin Lotta Agaton ist seit vielen Jahren für das Styling von String-Katalogen und -Ausstellungen verantwortlich. In diesem Jahr spiegelte das IMM-Standdesign der String das neueste Katalog-Fotoshooting des String-Katalogs 2018 wider, das im Haus Villa Frösakull von Jonas Lindvall erstellt wurde.
Der diesjährige Stand zeigt die inspirierenden Möglichkeiten, ein weißes String-Regalsystem zu gestalten. Das Hauptfarbschema besteht hier aus Dekoelementen in natürlichen weißen oder braunen Erdtönen und dem weißen Regal. – eine Kombination, die als eine der beliebtesten im skandinavischen Interior Design bekannt ist.
Nicht nur ich bewundere immer wieder die Arbeit von Lotta Agaton, ihre Arbeit bietet immer eine Gelegenheit, etwas über Styling zu lernen. Mit dem String-Styling können wir sehen, wie offene Regale nicht nur praktisch sein können, sondern auch als Designelement dienen. Die Wahl eines einheitlichen Farbschemas und eines ausgewogenen Material-Mixes (Glas, Holz etc.) macht hier den Unterschied. Hier sehen Sie die Gestaltungsbeispiele von vier Wohnbereichen: Küche, Abstellraum, Bad und Wohnzimmer.
