The Vipp hotel is not a hotel in the traditional sense. It does not have a concierge or a breakfast service. Instead of offering many rooms in one location, Vipp offers unique rooms at various destinations.

On November 1st, Vipp opened their second place to experience living with Vipp Designs – the Room no. 2 – Vipp Loft Copenhagen – A large-scale urban apartment mixing design and art. (The first Hotel Location, the Vipp Shelter is set on the mythical lake Immeln)
Perched atop an old printing factory from 1910 in Copenhagen’s Islands Brygge area, the Vipp Loft Copenhagen is a 400m2 urban experience. Studio David Thulstrup has cared for every inch of the light-filled home environment.
I could imagine a slow Sunday, waking up in the Vipp Loft, taking a bath and cooking a delicious brunch in the Vipp kitchen. After the city walk or a bike tour, enjoying crisp Copenhagen air, the afternoon at the Vipp Loft offers a warming relaxation by the fire or a quiet reading time. I also find the minimal aesthetics of the bedroom and bathroom area contributing to a perfect calming oasis in the middle of an energetic city life experience. Don’t you think?
More destinations for the Vipp hotel are already in the making: „Our ambition is to have a palette of destinations with rooms curated to people who seek a one-off design experience, or customers who want to try to live with the Vipp kitchen in a home-away-from-home setting. A Vipp kitchen is for life, but you can start with just a weekend.“, Kasper Egelund explains.

Diese Woche, am 1. November eröffnete Vipp seinen zweiten Platz, um das Leben mit Vipp Designs zu erleben – das Zimmer Nr. 2 – Vipp Loft – eine große städtische Wohnung, die Design und Kunst vereint.
Auf einer alten Druckerei aus dem Jahr 1910 in der Region Brygge in Kopenhagen gelegen, ist das Vipp Loft ein 400 m2 großes urbanes Erlebnis. Studio David Thulstrup kümmert sich um jeden Zentimeter der lichtdurchfluteten häuslichen Umgebung.
Ich könnte mir einen langsamen Sonntag vorstellen, in einem Vipp Loft aufzuwachen, ein Bad zu nehmen und einen köstlichen Brunch in der Vipp Küche vorzubereiten. Anschliessend einen Stadtrundgang oder eine Fahrradtour an frischer Luft von Kopenhagen und am Nachmittag im Vipp Loft eine warme Entspannung am Kamin oder eine ruhige Lesezeit in der Leseecke zu geniessen. Ich finde auch, dass die minimalistische Ästhetik des Schlaf- und Badezimmerbereichs eine perfekte beruhigende Ästhetik inmitten eines energetischen Stadtlebens ist. Was meint Ihr?
Weitere Reiseziele für das Vipp Hotel sind bereits im Entstehen: „Unser Traum ist es, in einer Reihe von Destinationen Zimmer zu schaffen – für Menschen, die auf der Suche nach einem einmaligen Designerlebnis sind, oder für Kunden, die das Leben mit einer Vipp Küche wie in einem zweiten Zuhause ausprobieren möchten. Eine Vipp Küche ist für das ganze Leben, aber anfangen kann man auch mit einem Wochenende“, erklärt Kaspar Egelund.
